I'm Superbi Squalo, the sword emperor and whoever sent me here is going to regret it when my sword goes right through their middle. Fuck knows what I'm gonna return to when I get back. Shitty boss might fucking actually have killed everyone.

But barring the coward coming out and fighting me like a man, I guess I need to occupy my time. Who the fuck wants to help me clean up the fuckin' hospital? It's the most logical place to start, cause these monsters aren't worth my time otherwise.

For all he's lacking that stupid hat, for this, at least, he's donned his Varia jacket over his usual black tank and cargo shorts. Partial uniform is fine, right?]

[ Squalo squints as he switches to video, glaring down at the mirror from a really unflattering angle. But his voice is growling in the back of his throat as he readies himself for another scream of course. ]

When the fuck did you get here?! You're going to help me whether you like it or not, brat.

A while ago. I guess with everyone else who first arrived. Hasn't been that long.

[An expected answer but hey, he tried. Now it's time to try another approach.]

Hey. Where are you? This network isn't secure. Unless you want me running an operation without permission.

[Fran wisely decides not to continue that line of conversation. He could point out the reasoning that they still don't know who's watching or who can do what and if they use private it could compromise what he wants to do.]

[And he'll just hang up at that. Squalo can find Fran sitting on the edge of the fountain, Varia jacket still slung over his shoulders as he pets the odd eyed blue bunny in his lap.]

[ Squalo finds relief in the fact that Fran was there early. Fuck knows if it was Belphegor the little shit wouldn't even show up and he would have to go hunting. Moreso, he notes there's no stupid frog hat on his head and he's only carrying his Varia jacket.

Better than Squalo, at least. He left his at home and just is wearing a blue shit with a swooping neck because like fuck does he want to really deal with the little shit of Sawada's running his mouth to anyone. He's half glancing around out of habit, but when he comes before the kid.

Well.. Squalo just lightly pats him on the head. ]

You're early. I was expecting to have to go fucking hunting for your ass.

[ His shirt's sleeves only go down to his elbows and what his gloves don't cover, gleams metal showing off the shiny new robotic arm he had. The one he used to pat the kid on the head. ]

[A small, insignificant gesture. A condescending one, if you were to ask most people around Fran's age. Hell, most people they knew, including a certain fake prince. But after everything Fran's been through, after all his doubts and fears and Bel, while he did a surprisingly good job, being the only Varia member to make Fran feel validated and wanted, well. Maybe it reminds him of his mother enough for Squalo to get Fran's more alarmingly frequent version of a smile.]

I had nothing better to do, which is exactly the problem. I wanna do something, and I was thinking. I can kinda bake, and I know some people who can too and can cook. On top of that, I want a place where we can lock up these things that come out at night and see what makes them tick. I was thinking maybe a bakery with a torture basement, but I wanted your thoughts before I do anything, since you're here and you're technically my boss.

[ The smiling gets a brow raised, but he ain't touching it. He's proud, that's enough. ]

Voooooi, not a bad idea. But make it a bar, bakery isn't a good place to gather intel.

[Well, if Squalo's getting involved, yeah, that'd probably be better.]

A bar that sells food?

[His minds pretty much made up but he phrases it as a question to be safe.]

Bars are usually named after animals, right? So how about White Liger Bar and Cusine?

[They both know who's going to own the place if he ever shows up, there's no use hiding it's a blatant Varia facility.]

[ Shrugging, but he's flinching at the name. ]

[ oh yeah, he knows. he's just going to pinch his brow. ]

I want a place for myself at the top of the bar. 3 floors and one basement.

We're probably gonna have to find the stuff to make a few cages. I guess I can look for the stuff while helping you clean the hospital.

[See? His original ultimatum that failed miserably can still have a purpose.

Meanwhile, there's been that blue bunny with Mukuro's eyes biting at the hand that pets it. Something clearly doesn't appreciate Fran's prioritizing of Varia.]

I think my hands have almost more scars than my back at this point. I should probably learn how to train this thing.

[ Someone from the Varia? If Fran is deferring to this Squalo person, it must be. She wonders... ]

I know enough about sewing up wounds to know that having a hospital where you can do it in sanitary conditions is more likely to not cause infection, or worse, Necrosis.

Anyone who fucking wants too, that's for sure. Or would you rather people just die out in the streets. I mean, I'm all for that, but I doubt other people feel the same way as I do about the general population of mouth breathers out there.

That is a fair point - no point risking others without reason. Other then their own stupidity, mind you. Sadly, there's no cure for that, hospital or not.

[ Because that's the most logical place to start, knowing what she knows. Superbi Squalo, captain of the elite assassin squad known as the Varia, Fran's superior, a swordsman, and... violent and violently loud from the the general sound of it. A man who dislikes being inconvenienced, a man with an intelligent priority -- she knows this much, but he doesn't need to know that just yet. She's not so cautious as to conceal the hell ring on her finger, however. It's quite visible and that much more so when she gestures with the question she's put forward. ]
