[Eiji starts up the video, visibly not in the best shape--scabs all around his mouth, and just overall disheveled and exhausted.]

If anyone's thinking about taking up the task about finding that singing phantom, don't. It's really dangerous.

[He sighs and rubs at the scabs.]

These are from her. She...I don't know. She was definitely controling the monsters with her song, and then she turned it on me. She controled me at least long enough to get me to kiss her.

[And now, there's a red flush in his cheeks.]

It's...whatever she did, she really makes you want to come back to her again. For...that. I still don't know what exactly she did, but if she was able to cut up my mouth like this...she was probably going to kill me. While I was too distracted to do anything about it.

Thanks, everyone who tried to help me. I'm sorry for the trouble.

Someone who doesn't want us to know anything about them. They'd have revealed themselves by now if they had any intention of doing so, don't you think?

They definitely seem to want us cleaning this place up, though.

It took me well over a week to get the cathedral cleaned up. [Because people weren't inclined to help.] Would you want to tackle all this yourself if you could get other people to do it for you?

Somehow, I don't think we were brought here just to be a cleaning service.

Of course not.

[The "moron", while unspoken, is still implied.]

There's nothing stopping them from using as as free labor incidentally to whatever their actual goals are, though.

So far, all we've seen is that they killed the only other people here who might have known what was going on. As far as figuring out those goals, we haven't got much to go on.
